Locator Contracts & Money

Locator Contracts & Money reads vending locator agreements clause by clause and does the arithmetic: monthly placement fees over 24 months, deposits, several machines and break-even sales. It also covers declining an offered location, non-circumvention, refunds, the FTC Business Opportunity Rule and state laws, each with a dated note: general information, not legal advice.

What a vending locator contract should say, clause by clause

A locator contract can be followed exactly and still deliver nothing if ‘location’ is undefined. Here is each clause to read and the wording to push back on.

A vending locator contract should define what counts as delivery: a lead, a meeting or a signed host agreement. It should set the search area and deadline, how many offers you may decline, every fee and when it falls due, how the deposit comes back, and what happens if the venue closes.
