Write to us about a figure, rule or source you believe is wrong, a clause you would like explained, or anything we wrote that needs explaining. We can’t review your contract or advise on a dispute with a locator; for that, ask a lawyer.

What happens to your name, email address and message is set out in our privacy notice. There is no email address on this site, so every message to the editors goes through the form.

Request a correction

1. Choose “Correction” in the form.
2. Include the article’s address and quote the passage you believe is wrong.
3. If you can, link the regulation, statute or published term that shows the correct information.

We check every request against the sources. When we find an error, we correct the article and add a dated note in a Corrections block at the end of it. The full policy is in our editorial standards.
