Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts, images and pages are all served from this domain, so reading Fine Print sends no request to any other company. Only submitting the contact form does, as described below.
The break-even calculator
The break-even calculator works entirely in your browser. The figures you type are not sent anywhere, saved or logged; they are gone when you leave the page.
Contact form
When you submit the form on our contact page, the name, email address, topic and message you send go through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, to the editors’ inbox. We use them only to answer you and to handle corrections, and Web3Forms’ own privacy terms apply to its handling of them. Nothing is sent until you press “Send message”.
Server logs
Like any website, the company that hosts Fine Print may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify readers.
Changes to this notice
If we ever add analytics or any other data collection, we will update this notice before it goes live and change the date below. For questions about this notice, see the contact page.
